Blessings Emory Family!
Ask me if I miss all of you. You had to think about that didn’t you? Well the answer is a resounding YES! I miss seeing your faces and smiles. Now the silver lining in the cloud is that we are reaching more people today than we did when we gathered. Now hopefully this will change people that are now listening to the Live Feeds but also to put our priorities in the right place and when we do come back together, there will be many more worshiping with us. Please pray that God’s magnificent hand would reach many people and make a decision or rededicate themselves for Jesus Christ.
Remember God is in Control and as it says in Romans 8: 28 28 And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.
In the mean time I pray that you are reading more of God’s word, and praying more. God is calling his people back to him and I truly believe this. It says in 2 Chronicles 7: 14-15, 14 if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land. 15 Now My eyes will be open and My ears attentive to prayer made in this place. Prayer works!!
There are some great things coming to Emory once we are allowed to gather again and from the deepest reaches of my heart, I thank you for continuing to send your tithes and offerings to God’s House.
I sat down with my grandchildren last night and asked 2 questions: 1. What have you learned during this pandemic? 2. What are you thankful for? The answers I received were heartfelt and sincere. Maybe we all need to ask ourselves these questions and understand that God has a purpose in all of this.
I pray all of you are safe and know that you are loved. If there is anything anyone is in need of or need prayer, you can call me or text me.
